About Us

Swarada Music Academy was started in 1991 on 17th Oct in an effort to inpart music lessons to students by Mrs. Shubhada Bam – Tambat (Sangeet Visharad).

Mrs. Shubhada Bam – Tambat is a melodious personality, who started her musical journey from childhood and took her music lessons from her Guru Smt. Malatibaee Nipankar and Krushnara Dasakkar, B. R. Triwedi. It has been 53 glorious years since she serving in this field of music.As a singer she has mesmerized thousand by her soulful singing and performance.

Her soulful singing gave the audience tremendous joy when “Chandane Shimpeet Jashee”came into light. Asha Bhosale’s melodious songs rendered by Shubhada Bam-Tambat creates music, it almost gives the feeling of devotion to Shabda, Sur, Taal and Laya. With this journey she had opportunity to work and sing with noted singers and composers.

She has had the good opportunity to sing as co-singer in the Live concert “Gata Rahe Mera Dil” of the Melody Queen and the Living Legend Lata Mangeshkar, held in Pune at 16 December 2000.

She also had an opportunity to work with music composers Anil Mohile, Shriniwas Khale, Anand Modak, Shridhar Phadke, Yashwant Deo and famous singers Ravindra Sathe and poetess of Marathi literature Smt.Shanta Shelke and Famous Compere Shri Sudhir Gadgil, who have appreciated her singing.

Not only in India she also had the opportunity to sing in Mauritius in April 2008 on the occasion of "Gudhi Padva" in the presence of Prime Minister of Mauritius Shri Naveenchandra Ramgulam and was also Broad Casted on Mauritius Television.

Have composed her own songs in an album "Ha Asa Chandra" in which the songs are written by famous poets and poetesslike Mangesh Padgaokar, Suresh Bhat, Kusumagraj, Shanta Shelke etc.

As woking through journey of music, she wanted to impart her knowledge to the upcoming Artists, and in 1991, Swarada Music Academy came into Being.

All this training, grooms the students and brings out the performer in the students with confidence.

Mrs. Shubhada Bam-Tambat , A Melodious personality :

Mrs. Shubhada has a "Sangeet-Visharad" to her credit and that explains the solid foundation that she has in Indian Classical Music. Her musical journey started with Bole Re Papihara as First Prize winner (in competition held by Ras-Shrafalya ,Nashik). She was very nearly prodigy because at the age of 14 she gave first public performance which is still a part of public memory.

Chandane Shimpit Jashee Is a name of a delectable experience of some memorable filmy and other songs of Asha Bhonsale. A mere public announcement of this programme promises a house packed to its capacity. A century of this programme is an achievement that deserves accolades. This is result of the kind of ease which goes with her command over her Soor, Laya & the exact sense of the Taal in every song which may be a highly devotional abhang, an amorous Lawani or a modern day Pop number. We all love Asha Bhonsale’s songs, Shubhada lives them when she sings them .

She has performed in almost all the major cities of Maharashtra for Maharashtra Mandal, charity-institutions, cultural-organisations for the stage performance as well as the eve of Ganesh-festival, Navratra, Charity-functions, Family-Functions, etc. There is yet another aspect of her personality. She enjoys striving for personal excellence but at the same time, she takes pleasure in imparting skills and all the nuances of singing to young enthusiastic budding singers. This service is- done through ” Swarada Sugam Sangeet Vidyalaya (Academy)” which is known for its devotion and discipline.

Navin Tambat :

Mrs. Shubhada Tambat has strong support of her Husband and Son, who acts as pillars of this class.

Husband Naveen Tambat is a well known Rythemist in Nashik and is in this profession from a long time. He has had the opportunity to perform with noted artists like Pt.Hridaynath Mangeshkar, Yashwant Deo, Usha Mangeshkar, Pramila Datar, Gajanan Watve and Ravindra Sathe, Late Anil Mohile..etc

Ninad Tambat :

Ninad Tambat a Tabla Visharad, who have also performed along with many welknown composers and singers and get many praises for this art.

He is main pillar of Instrumental Section of Swarada Music Academy. He is teaching keyboard, tabla and harmonium

He is an amazing synthesizer player who got his Training from his Guru Anil Gode (Pune) and from Trinity College of London. A child performing since childhood, have got an opportunity to work with music composer Anil Mohile, famous singers Arun Date, Ravindra Sathe, Gajanan Watve, Yashwant Deo… etc.

He also has a contribution as a musician in Gujarati and Marathi film. He has scored background music for Drama in Rajya Natya and Bal Natya Mahotsav, Also adds Feather in his music career when Ninad participated in Mauritius Cultural Programme on the occasion of Gudhi Padva in the year 2008 in the presence of the Prime Minister.
